The Bumbo

This innovative baby chair is made to allow babies to sit upright with good posture from the time that they are able to support their own head.

I've heard countless testimonies about how wonderful it is for playing, eating and just hanging out in.

This is how it is supposed to work.....

Notice in the feeding picture that mom is dressed up, baby is sitting upright and no messy baby food smears in sight.

And then there is Jake's version of how to sit in a Bumbo.....

This is the position he assume the second he is set in this thing. And he continues to twist himself around and wedge himself further into the leg hole. And of course he has to nah on the side of the dang chair too.

Not long and he's looking more like this.....

Notice the peas all over his face, hand, shirt, sock and the side of the Bumbo.

Good thing it cleans up easily and that the baby food blends right into the rug.

That's funny about Jake and the chair. That's what my Jake would have done too. Maybe it's in the name???

I loved your decorating in your last post. Great job! Doesn't it feel so good to get creative like that? I'm going to steal the curtain idea. I've been trying to figure out how to make some like that forever...still working on the motivation factor. I'll get there. :)
