We had a trial run with Valentine cookie making a couple weeks ago. I think the 2 dozen cookies we made required about 4 bottles of sprinkles, according to Aubrey. They were delicious. Not the cookies, the sprinkles. I could not taste cookies under the mounds of sugar!

Don't let this picture fool you. I'm sure this was between a fit and some tears...

Jake got his first haircut in January. Poor boy needed it so badly. We thought a barber shop was the best way to go. We have 3 barber shops in town. And the one time we decide to actually go to one of them, they were ALL closed. So we decided to try the next day, then the next, and the next, and so on for an entire week. Does anyone get their hair cut in this town? I mean come on! So we opted for a "butcher" shop instead. (Sorry Susie! Yes, you did teach me better than that.)

No after picture on the haircut because the batteries died! Typical!! After the haircut we went to the ice cream shop next door to calm the tears. Worked like a charm!
And lastly, here's a little, okay long, video with some groovy moves of the kids and some family fun! Music works wonders to turn a grumpy, misbehaving kid into a laughing, silly one. But it does not seem to wear them out enough to sleep good! Still trying to figure that one out. (Pause the Mix Pod music on the right side of the blog before playing the video. Sorry for the side ways view. Hope you don't get a kink in the neck!)
