This is how we roll.....

...at least in the case of A and lil' J.

Within the last few weeks lil' J has had lots of new found...talents? tricks? discoveries? You be the judge. Here's one of my favorites...

A started her year round swim lessons at the beginning of the month. We have committed ourselves to every Saturday morning. These were the first swim lessons she did without me in the pool with her. She was okay with that though. She was just mad that she had to go under the water and get her face wet. It's one of those things that she never liked, even as a baby. I got lots of dirty looks like this one through the whole first lesson.....

She talked for the whole week about how mad she was that she had to go under the water and get her face wet.I bought her a pair of goggles and that seemed to do the trick. No more dirty looks at mom. A's swim teacher is amazing with her. I can't believe how much progress she has made in only 4 lessons. Here's a few more pics from her first lesson...

One of the things I like to do is take the kids out for a walk in the morning or evening when it's cool outside. I recently decided to buckle lil' J in the wagon with his big sis. He loved it!

When we got back from our morning walk today I decided the car need a quick wash. I hate to think how long it's been. I had my helper A to work along side me. She decided to play Dumbo in the bucket instead...

Does this count as today's bath??

In case you have not heard my big news, I found out last week that I FINALLY got accepted to start the nursing program!!!! I have been in the lottery since I was pregnant with A, who is 3-1/2 now!I start in January. There is going to be lots of changes happening around here when that time comes. A and lil' J's world as they know it is going to be turned upside down. Talk about guilt! But in the end I know it will all be worth it.

Totally counts as a bath. Soap water. Clean kid, clean car. That's 2 in one. Where is she taking swim lessons at?
